Clean Money working group meeting
This is a message from Elsa Schafer, one of the local organizers for the Clean Money campaign finance initiative.
Many thanks for your interest in and support of Proposition 15, the California Fair Elections Act. We met some of you through the Passion Raiser last Saturday in San Mateo, and others earlier while working on Fair and Clean Elections. If you've already received this notice, please skip this - but do come to the meeting!
Please come to our next Working Group meeting this very Tuesday, February 16th, at 7 p.m., to learn about the campaign strategy through to the election in June. We are planning:
- House Parties
- Phone Banks (April - June)
- Tabling at Farmers Markets, Earth Month events, all kinds of events
- Speakers to visit all kinds of community groups.
Please bring your calendar, and any suggestions you have for:
- places and events at which to table or speak
- dates for a house party you could give or help with.
We're excited to see you Tuesday! Please RSVP to elsaschafer -AT- comcast.net, so we know whom and how many to expect.
The venue has changed to 2821 St. James Road, Belmont 94002.
