U.S-Latin America Relations

In my opinion, it is deadly and dangerous to continue the Bush policy of enmity toward Latin American Marxist nations such as Cuba and Venezuela. These nations are definately not ideologically aligned with America,however, if Reagan could find common ground with Gorbachev, and Egypt could find common ground with Israel, then who says that the U.S can't find common ground with Latin American Marxist nations? In conclusion, I believe America should pursue a policy of cautious yet forward-moving diplomacy with Latin American Marxist nations.
