Help Register Voters to Make a Difference for our State!

Democrats! Your Help Is Needed! The ONLY Way We Will Save California is to REGISTER VOTERS & Gather Signatures for Progressive Initiatives

Dear Fellow Democrats and Obama Supporters,

Here is Updated Info. on Voter Registration Sites/Dates At Farmers’ Markets, Fairs, Festivals
When: July to October, 2009
BY: Diane Rolfe

Many people have given up on California’s Budget mess and its government. However, as Democrats we know we need to have a government that can pass budgets and raise revenues by a simple majority vote, not the insane requirement of a supermajority of 2/3’s. This will promote the common wealth and security of our people which describes good governance. The tyranny of the minority that has undermined our state’s finances and the future of our children must be changed!

Right now we are the ONLY state in the nation that requires a 2/3’s vote to raise revenues. Two things are needed to make California work: More Democrats elected, especially a Democratic Governor in 2010, and putting to a vote of the people several initiatives that reestablish majority rule relating to budget and revenue enhancements. Also, doing away with term limits wouldn’t be such a bad idea either! We need to register more Democrats and we need to gather signatures in the next few months for initiatives that do away with the 2/3’s requirements to pass budgets and to raise revenues.

Volunteer Today to Register Voters at these PDC/PYD & DFA Events to make a difference for our state!

We also need people who want to set up and take down only! You will find Voter Registration and Tabling enjoyable, memorable, and often inspiring.
