Neighborhoods Team	Organize local Obama groups in neighborhoods across Silicon Valley, building on Precinct Program from CA primary Assist neighborhood groups with conducting phone-banks, visibility, letter-writing, fundraising and service projects outside of our HQ Grow capacity of local groups to conduct fall campaign and sustain Obama movement after our November victory
Phone Bank Team	Organize HQ-based phone banks to persuade and ID Obama voters in upcoming primary states Support neighborhood-based phone banks Make recruiting calls to SVFO volunteers Conduct 30-minute phone-banking trainings in HQ
Travel Team	Organize local volunteers to travel to other states to campaign in their primaries and caucuses Members have traveled to IA, NH, NV, TX and PA
Outreach Team	Conduct tabling and other activities at public locations Participate in visibility activities at Democratic Party and other political events Support neighborhood teams in conducting neighborhood-based outreach
Events Team	Organize parties in our HQ around debates, election results and other special events Support neighborhood teams in organizing house parties and other local events
Media Team	Coordinate media relations for the Silicon Valley campaign Organize “Scribes” to write letters to the editor, blogposts and written outreach materials Coordinate local campaign spokespeople Maintain local photo and press archives on website

Office Team	Manage HQ operations, including front desk, supplies, food and volunteers
Finance Team	Assemble in-kind donations to support our HQ operations Conduct grassroots fundraising for national campaign Assist California Finance Committee with major donor fundraising events
Materials Team	Obtain and distribute buttons, stickers, T-shirts Produce local campaign flyers and other printed materials
Tech/Data Team	Obtain, enter and manage all volunteer and voter data Create and update our website Manage HQ information technology

Atherton Fundraiser

Please join Atherton volunteers this Saturday July 5th, 12 noon for an informal garden gathering and multiply your determination to sending Barack Obama to the White House. Click here to RSVP

Half Moon Bay 4th of July Parade

Come join us as we march in Half Moon Bay's old fashioned small town 4th of July parade. We'll be meeting at 10am to register voters waiting along the parade route, then we'll march in the parade. Meet at HMB's Library parking lot 620 Correas and bring water & a clipboard. Although the marching will be a non-partisan, get-out-the-vote message (local rules), please wear your Obama t-shirt if you have one. The parade will be over around 1pm. To RSVP, click here.
